London Christian School was established in September 2007 and started with just four pupils. Since then the school has flourished to its current size of 120 pupils across eight classes, aged from 3 to 11 years old.
We exist to provide an excellent Christian education and we aim to deliver this by:
Teaching a creative and engaging curriculum tailored to individual pupil needs
Nurturing a love for learning
Celebrating pupil achievements
Our carefully crafted curriculum is built around a traditional Biblical Christian understanding of the world and human nature, and pupils learn in a nurturing environment in which they feel safe and happy. Class sizes are kept small so that the curriculum can be differentiated to the needs of each child, allowing them to grow both socially and academically.
We have been based in our current purpose-built facility nestled in the Borough vicinity of London Bridge, since 2009. Our central London location provides us with wonderful opportunities to visit places of great historical, cultural and geographical interest and create a range of learning experiences outside the classroom. The school has a courtyard and a covered rooftop playground as well as easy access to the local park for sports and recreation.
A happy, lively and purposeful atmosphere pervades all areas of the school, and in accordance with its aims successfully provides an excellent Christian education for all.
