On 20 September, the Head Boy and Girl and their deputies spent a day at Kingham Hill School in the Cotswolds. There they joined children from other schools in some excellent training in what it means to be a good leader. They took part in various discussions and team building exercises and learned about co-operation and the importance of having an attitude of service. Some of the sixth form prefects from Kingham Hill spoke about their experiences. Members of staff at Kingham Hill led the discussions. The London Christian School team seemed particularly inspired by Colonel Tim Collins's Iraq war speech, and they will be running an assembly on servant leadership in the near future. Many thanks to TISCA (The Independent Schools Christian Alliance) and Kingham Hill School for putting on such an excellent day.
