Year 1 and 2 visited a mosaic this week. You can find it by the River Thames near London Bridge. It shows a view of old London Bridge from the 15th century before it was destroyed in the fire of London. We discussed how different London Bridge was then, full of houses, shops and chapels. The children noticed how the mosaic was made with colourful tiles. Then we spent some time sketching what we could see.
