Year 1 and 2 were joined...on screen...by Sarah Swallow from Thames Water. Our topic has been Water this term so her visit really added to our learning. Sarah spoke to us about what happens to our water after we have flushed it down the toilet. It was amazing to see how they clean the water up to be put back into the rivers and even use the waste to create poo power that generates electricity for the sewerage works. Amazing!
