In Year 2 we looked at some examples of Aztec and Mexican wool paintings. Typically they were of nature including birds, flowers, trees, leaves and the sun. Year 2 designed their own painting and then using a variety of coloured string they glued it on in a controlled fashion. They did a fantastic job as you can see from the results!
