In Year 1/2 Art club we looked at an abstract artist called Reggie Laurent.
He is known for his vibrant, colourful paintings that use a mix of geometric and organic shapes.
His signature style involves starting with a black canvas, adding white geometric and organic shapes, filling them with bright colors and patterns, and then connecting them with a continuous white line, or “sewing” them together.
We had fun over three weeks creating our own colourful versions! It was a lot of fun and we are really pleased with the results.
