KS2 has been challenged to learn all the kings and queens of England / UK in order. Lots of them have already managed it and collected their little prizes of an appropriate sticker. We’ve discussed at length the exclusion of Jane and Matilda from many lists. The children have been reordering some monarchs who keep mixing themselves up! Yellow squares have been stuck to the monarch who children think is most significant. William the Conqueror has collected the most so far as the leader of the last successful invasion and Queen Elizabeth II has collected the most orange squares as children decide who the monarch is that they respect the most.
