Year 1 and 2 have been out in Tabard Gardens finding patterns! This is one of the ways scientists learn about the world around them. We asked the question: do more yarrow flowers grow in short grass or in long grass? We took a tally of flowers in two different areas with two same sized hoops and found many more growing in the short grass. This helped us to see what we had been learning, plants need lots of sunlight to grow healthily.
