In science we went to the park to fly our gliders and see if they met our design criteria.
The gliders had to fly for 3 meters and fly through a 1m squared window opposite. We had designed our gliders based on the results of an investigation into ‘what makes the best wing?’ The gliders were tested last week and improved in class and this week they were put to the test against the weather. We even did some improving in the park, discussing the problems and how we might solve them as aeronautical engineers.
