All the rain we have had recently was brilliant for our invertebrates hunt this week with years 3 and 4. We had a wonderful time finding all the living things in Tabard Gardens and were able to use a classification key to identify some of the invertebrates we didn’t know. We found millipedes and centipedes and true bugs for which we needed our identification key and lots of worms! When we got back to the classroom the knowledge we had gained about these invertebrates meant we could make our own classification keys with great yes/no questions.
