Peel an apple, pass it on!

One of the great things about cooking club is all the skills our chefs already come to the table with and their willingness to learn new skills.  As we made apple and blackberry cake today, one pupil learnt how to safely use the peeler we have at school.  He immediately passed on that skill to a fellow chef who left cooking club not just with cake but with new confidence. Cooking together really is a wonderful learning experience – as well as rather delicious.
