As we study the seasons, years 1 and 2 have been on an Autumn walk in Tabard Gardens.
We spotted so many signs of autumn like colourful leaves, conker husks and even mushrooms and berries. We used Autumn Leaf Detectives sheets to help us identify our local trees through their leaves and seeds which we were really good at. Our class tree, a field maple, that we are studying throughout the year has lost nearly all its leaves.
We can’t wait to see what it looks like in winter!
