Periscope Detectives

Year 5 and 6 were set a new task today by DC Charlotte Briars in the investigation of a theft at a secondary school nearby.  A periscope was found at the scene of the crime and the pupils investigated what material would make the worst reflector in order to eliminate one of the suspects.  They discovered, through investigation, that mirrors and metal were excellent reflectors whereas retro-reflectors with their bumpy surface reflected light off in all directions making it a poor reflective material to spy with.  Great investigative work year 5 and 6!
