Year 3’s topic has been Flight and in History we have been learning about the history of flying.
One of our key individuals was the African American stunt pilot Bessie Coleman who often performed wing walking! The children wrote newspaper articles imagining they were reporting on one of her shows and then they performed a dramatic reenactment with their own planes.
