3D Shapes

In Year 6, we have been learning about nets and 3D shapes.
The children began by building simpler shapes such as cubes and tetrahedrons, and then challenged themselves to build more complex shapes, such as icosahedrons and even a rhombicosidodecahedron (a shape with 62 faces!) They had to be very careful whilst cutting out to ensure the shape fitted together well. We all discovered that securing the final face of the shape was the trickiest part.
