In Year 5 this half term, we have been studying the artist, Peter Thorpe.
Most of his paintings are space related and he loves to paint rockets. We used his paintings as inspiration and then designed and created our own. Peter Thorpe’s style was that the background is abstract whereas the foreground is more realistic. We loved this project and are really pleased with the outcomes.
