It was wonderful to see the children dressed in a variety of colours, flags and national dress representing the many countries in our school for International Day.

During the morning, Sapphire, Jasper and Year 1-4 made a giant poster about a country of their choice and then all students had their own passport and travelled around the world finding out about different countries. Year 5/6 were attending a concert with music from around the world at The Barbican. In the afternoon, Year 1-2 took part in a flag and landmark matching quiz, and Year 3-6 split into house teams to take part in a Geography quiz whichTolkien were the winners of! A wonderfully fun and creative day enjoyed by all!
