As historians, we have been using photos to compare how Borough used to look to how it is now.
To do this, we stood in the exact spot where the old photo was taken and took a picture of what is there today. Sometimes it was easy to tell where the old photo was taken, sometimes we had to look hard to find clues and sometimes it was impossible without doing more research. We’ve been asking what has changed, what has remained the same and why?
