As their topic for this half term, Years 3 and 4 have been learning all about the Fire of London. They have studied how the events unfolded and used Samuel Pepys’ diary to discover how it felt to have lived through it. They also enjoyed trying to work out who was responsible for the damage caused and writing their own accounts from the point of view of Charles II, Mingo (Samuel Pepys’ servant) or Hannah Farriner. The highlight was creating our own model of London and seeing how it burned!
