Year 1 and 2 have been looking at materials and their properties.
It has been so much fun to get out scientific instruments that we don’t use very often and learn to use them accurately. We have tested different brands of kitchen roll to see which is the most absorbent and we found out about the first waterproof coat designed by Charles Macintosh, testing out materials just like he did in his factory.
