Our Governors

​

Our Governing Body consists of current and past parents, staff members and external individuals, all with a passion for seeking to develop our school. They meet each half term to discuss the school action plan and to monitor safeguarding, finances and implementation of policies. Our Governors are keen to be involved in school life through visits, assemblies and events.

Chair of Governors

​

Reverend Chris Fishlock BA

​

Chris is Minister in Charge at St Nick's Church. He is also Chairman and Trustee of UK Christian Schools and SNCA Workplace Ministry.  Chris and his wife Carrie founded London Christian School (LCS) with two other families in 2007. They have three children, all of whom have attended LCS.  In his spare time, Chris enjoys cycling (slowly) in London parks and exploring northern France.

Mr Joseph Ammoun BA PGCE

​

Joe previously worked for London Christian School as a member of teaching staff for eight years and has been a governor at LCS since June 2013. He is now the curate at St Simon Zelotes.  He and his wife Zannie have three children attending London Christian School. Joe’s interests include reading, losing at table tennis, politics and taking his children to the park.

Mr Mike Burden JP CWIFM

​

Mike is Head of Facilities & Estates at James Allen's Girls' School. He joined LCS as a governor at the end of 2023. Mike is married to Suzie and lives in Borough. As well as education he has a keen interest in the criminal justice system, serving as a magistrate in East London. In his spare time Mike enjoys watching Formula 1 and walks to coffee shops.

Miss Nicola Collett-White LLB PGCE

​

Nicola has been the Head Teacher at London Christian School and governor since 2015. Nicola enjoys sport (especially golf), hill-walking, reading, good coffee shops, and she is a keen member of the British Museum.

​

Sir Charles Hoare Bt. BA MSc

​

Charles is a Senior Partner at The Whitegate Partnership. He has been a governor at LCS since 2017. Charles has three children. In his leisure time, he enjoys the work of God in nature and man in art.  

​

Mrs Grace Huang BA (Hons) MSc ACMA

​

Grace is in Finance Change Management at Morgan Stanley.  She joined LCS as a governor at the end of 2023. Currently living in Blackheath, Grace and her husband, Dean, are regular mixed doubles players at their local tennis club.  Grace also enjoys listening to audiobooks when running and knitting (not all three at the same time).

Mrs Andrea McCallister BA(Ed) Hons

​

Andrea is a Support Teacher at Thomas’s Preparatory School, Battersea.  She has been a Governor at LCS since October 2018. Andrea is married to Ian and has two boys; Freddie and George.  She enjoys going to the theatre, opera, reading and running.  

​

Miss Martha West BA Philosophy, Bristol

​

Martha was a class teacher at Bonner Primary School, Bethnal Green.  She has been teaching at LCS since 2021 and she has been a governor at LCS since 2022.  Her interests include the Arts (particularly film, art and music), climbing and sports (both watching and playing).

​

Reverend Thomas Wright MA, St Andrew’s, PGCE, Canterbury Christ Church University

​

Tom is Assistant Minister at St Nick’s Church and a Curate in the Church of England. He is also a Trustee at St Nicholas Cole Abbey Centre for Workplace Ministry.

​

He has an interest in history and all things old and likes reading, especially Christian biographies. He enjoys going for coffee with his wife Emma and catching up with friends for dinner. He also has fun doing DIY and gardening with his three sons, one of whom attends LCS.  He has been a Governor at LCS since 2020.

​
