In science with Years 5 and 6 we separated the sea...not Moses-like but scientifically. We are looking at materials and their properties and the different methods you need to use to separate them. The pupils had to plan a method for separating water, salt and sand using 2 different methods, depending on their properties. One pupil said:
"I knew you could separate water from salt, but I've never actually done it before. That was great."
