The new term marked the first day of hot lunches at LCS. With the kitchen in the new hall fitted just in time, Apetito delivered the first meals. Their team also helped us out for the first couple of days and they will be back next week to see how we are getting on. Nat Ridjarung, our Lunch Manager, ably assisted by Jocelyn Hutton with plenty of staff on hand, started us on our hot food adventure. There were inevitable snags, and some of us are getting used to new tastes and experiences, but we had many a thumbs up. "The best lunch I have ever had" said a few, though we suggested they not pass that on to mum or dad. By Tuesday, many were asking for seconds. I personally particularly enjoyed the curried lamb and the apple crumble. Roast tomorrow!
