A freezing Tuesday morning...what better time to go outside and examine the eruption of volcanoes! Years 3 and 4 had a great time forming volcanoes out of salt dough, making a main vent and for some, a side vent too, then filling it with bicarbonate of soda before pouring on the vinegar. A great example of the lava flow and gaseous releases of volcanic eruptions!
