In history lessons, Year 5 has been getting a little taste of life in WW2. They made their own ration cake using a recipe from the time. They were pleasantly surprised by the results! Most of them enjoyed it but found it a little bland. They also made their own evacuation labels and imagined how the children leaving London for the countryside would have felt.
