Colour clues

In our last lesson in light and shadows with Years 5 and 6 we investigated the final task set out by DC Charlotte Briars to find the culprit for the crime of stealing a physics teacher's laptop!  We had to find out if a blue or beige t-shirt could reflect back magenta, turquoise and yellow using 3 different light filters found at the scene of the crime: red, blue and green.  We were fascinated to discover how light and paint mixing are very different.  We also tested our hypothesis that light colours reflect light better while dark blue absorbs light, even colours.
