Early Reception had a fun week learning all about Diwali. Some of the children brought in things to share with the class, stories, photos of their own Diwali celebrations, rangoli patterns, coloured rice and sand. They made their own rangoli pictures and then decorated the classroom with them. It's looking very colourful.
They also made diva lamps using clay. They had to work hard to squish the clay with their thumbs to make the hole for the light.
