Jasper's adventures

This week in Jasper class we have been continuing to explore the Polar Lands, particularly looking at animals in the Antarctic. We have started writing our own versions of the ‘Flip Flap Frozen’ book we have been reading together, which involves drawing our favourite polar animals and describing what we know about them. We’ve also continued to enjoy being Arctic explorers visiting our Arctic den in search of some polar animals!

We were really excited to welcome Theo’s mummy to our class when she came to talk to us about her country, Korea, for International Day. She showed us how to fold origami penguins and we tried on some traditional Korean dress, as well as tasting some yummy dumplings! We enjoyed learning about Theo’s family.

We have also started rehearsing our Christmas play alongside learning the songs (and the accompanying actions!) We’re excited to show off our hard work to you all in week 6!
