Year 3 and 4 put their knowledge of circuits, electricity and electrical conductors into practice today. Having discovered what conducts and insulates from electricity, the children made the steady hand game, where a wand is passed around a wire carefully without touching it but if it makes a connection, the circuit is complete and a buzzer goes off! They also made a quiz that causes a bulb to light up when the correct question and answer are connected (with metal insulated by plastic runs around at the back).
