World Water Day

By Francesca Isle

On the 22 March, Year 5 had a live Microsoft Teams call with lots of other schools and NCRE who ran the event for World Water Day. We had lots of fun including a quiz at the end.

At the start of the event, all the different schools logged on and the leaders began our session. The leaders told us about the water cycle and the three p’s: pee, poo and paper. These are the only three things that should go down the toilet. They also gave us lots of different tips on how to save water and how to remember to not take it for granted.

As the event came to a close, our teachers used the chat icon on the side to send questions. The teachers had to say the name of our school in the comments as well so when all the different schools had finished putting their answers down, the people leading the World Water Day event could read comments to the rest of the schools listening live.
